Rodimer turned himself in to police on Wednesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. His lawyer said he “intends to vigorously contest these allegations.” He posted $200,000 bail Wednesday night.

Further evidence against Rodimer included text message exchanges between him and his ex-wife.

Tapp previously served 20 years in prison for the 1996 rape and murder of an 18-year-old Idaho woman. He was released in 2017 and acquitted in 2019.
