U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris recently visited the Puerto Rican capital of San Juan, but she ended up embarrassing herself in front of a group of protesters.

Harris’ motorcade was greeted by dozens of rowdy demonstrators and onlookers on the sidewalks holding signs that read “Kamala Harris War Criminal.”

A video of Harris visiting the Gojoco Community Center in the San Juan Santurce neighborhood circulated on social media, in which the 59-year-old Democrat can be seen clapping and dancing to protesters who sang songs.

Instead of clapping, Harris stood next to aide Mariana Reyes, who translated the band’s remarks, according to RNC research.

Reyes is Lagoico’s executive director, and the person on Harris’ other side is Hispanic Federation President Frankie Miranda.

“We want to know, Kamala, what are you here for? … Long live Free Palestine and Haiti,” the band sang, according to an account managed by the Republican National Committee.

When Reyes translated the lyrics to Harris, she stopped clapping, clasped her hands together, and nodded slightly as the song continued.
